Herb Dandilion has been playing Amtgard for a little over two years. In that time, she has done a ton of beautiful appliqued garb. She was already a cosplayer when she joined, so she brings many skills to the table.

Hodr Rimefrost is the 2017 Flurb of the Year. He comes from a rather hot place and enjoys making wagers. Hit him up if you have the chance!

Lady T hails from Mistyvale, in the Kingdom of Westmarch! She loves learning new crafts and sharing what she learned with others.

Illeria actively participates in Amtgard, loves to play table-top RPG's, and dabbles in all forms of artwork. Her writing started with poetry, leading to her first publication at the age of twelve. She has three short stories published through Colorado Springs Fiction Writers Group- A Page Lost in An Uncommon Collection, The Power of the Word in Remnants and Resolutions: Tales of Survival, and Trials of the Moon in Colorado State of Mind. Her first full length novel, Hoofbeats, was released in February 2016.

Jocelyn Achard is primarily a garber who dabbles in performance and other creative mediums. Her favorite thing to make is court garb, and admits she goes overboard with the handwork sometimes. You can always find her at the bardics in the evening, and usually sewing something the rest of the time. She has been playing Amtgard for 6 years, and also dabbles in the SCA. She is the Clan 2017 A&S Competition Crat.

Melody Songtailor is an avid crafter and has played Amtgard a little over three years. She also holds a Master's of Music in Conducting and Composition. She is the Clan 2017 A&S Crat. and will likely be running all over the place during the event.

Sid Nanuwhogod comes from the parched deserts of Arizona. There she is known for her fighting and her A&S. Though she is an excellent seamstres, she is also great at converting thriftstore finds into amtguard treasures.

Squire Cuntessa UpMihr D. Beanslaw has been playing Amtgard for 18 years, and is currently recovering from an injury.

Viadra Moonblade comes from Darkmoon in the Empire of the Iron Mountains and has been in Amtgard for over six years. She has done many local and kingdom feasts including the Rakis feast. Clan Arts and Sciences Competition 2017

In the spirit of generosity and service, this year’s theme is ‘Selflessness’. All entries must be either gifts, service entries (e.g. loaner weapons for your kingdom, a PM kit for your local park), or anything that adds to or betters Amtgard. Made a knighting gift for a friend? Enter it! Wrote a song about how drunk you got at the last Clan? Enter it! Wrote a story or made fancy weapons to help your kingdom’s reign theme? Enter them! And please, tell us how your entry fits this year’s theme!

Wild Woman A&S Siege

Arts & Science Siege — Rules

Each participant will get a bag of craft items. Each bag will have the same basic items but colors may vary. You may use any or all of the items in your bag to make one project. You may NOT add any items that are not in your bag. You MAY attach your supplies together using GLUE, THREAD, or WIRE (some will be provided). You may alter the items in your bag (carve, break, cut, etc) and sew, tie, glue, etc. them together.

The competition is to see how creative different people can be with the same supplies. Participants may work alone or in small groups; but only one bag of craft items and one prize for the group. You may work at your camp, the Crafting Camp, or Wild Woman will have tables set up at her camp where you can work with glue, sewing and cutting supplies.

If you participate you are HONOR-BOUND to create a project according to the rules above. You get to keep your project. You may pick it up after court on Saturday. There are four categories and some prizes will be awarded. Child (up to 12 years), Teen (13 to 20 years), Young adult (21 to 35), Experienced Adult (35 and up). One grand prize will be awarded. Projects are judged by a score sheet, not against each other. In the event of a tie, straws will be drawn.

Your bag of supplies may be picked up at Wild Woman's camp beginning Thursday morning. The finished project must be turned in at WW's camp no later than 12:00 noon on Saturday. Please return unused craft items so they can be used next year. There are only thirty bags.
